“Tell Us How You Tungle” is a new series at Tungle.me where we ask Tunglers how Tungle.me has changed the way they do business.
Alaia is an entrepreneur based in Los Angeles. Her business, One Organized Business exists to help other solopreneurs, entrepreneurs, and small business owners make their businesses work better by having the proper systems in place to aid in their success. She also runs an online community called The Entrepreneur Connection that is a valuable resource for local business owners and entrepreneurs. Want to say hi to Alaia? You can always find her on Twitter.
As a busy and passionate entrepreneur herself, Alaia is the perfect person to talk to about schedule juggling.
“I have so many different kinds of appointments that need to be scheduled due to the different natures of my two businesses,” says Alaia. “For certain kinds of appointments, I need to have control over when the appointment takes place due to location. But nowadays, the majority of my appointments, calls, and meetings happen virtually or over the phone.
“I have busy inboxes (yes, plural!) and so emailing back and forth to simply set up a time for a phone call, online training, or explanation of services isn’t a good use of time for me or the people I’m talking to. Because my business is about helping people become more efficient, it sets a bad example when it takes two days of back and forth communication for me to set up a meeting with someone!”
We asked Alaia how Tungle.me fits into this picture.
“I use Tungle to schedule any appointment that I don’t have to travel to. Anytime someone says, ‘when can you talk?’ ‘can you explain the benefits of becoming a member?’ or ‘when can we set up a training session?’ – I ask them to Tungle me! They love it because it’s quick and easy, and I love it because it saves me time and energy. Every minute saved is a blessing when you’re a busy entrepreneur!”
What are Alaia’s favorite things about Tungle.me?
“Tungle integrates with Google Calendar, my iPod Touch, Wise Stamp, and Plancast – services I use on a daily basis. The fewer steps I need to take to get something done, the happier I am and the better I am at serving my clients, members, and colleagues.”
