We respect that you are putting your trust in Tungle. We take your security & privacy very seriously.

You own and control your data.

  1. Only you have access to your personal information and calendar details.
  2. Nobody else can see your calendar details. People you share calendars with will only see the blocks of time when you are free or busy. They do not have access to any other details.
  3. You can remove your calendar and contacts from Tungle at any time.
  4. To completely delete your Tungle account, write to support@tungle.com, and we’ll honour your request as quickly as possible.
  5. We will never sell, rent or otherwise distribute your information, or your contacts’ information to third parties.

We have a no-spam policy.

  1. You won’t receive emails from Tungle that are not directly related to your meetings, with the exception of our monthly newsletter, and occasional email communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
  2. We won’t email your contacts without your permission. We will send the meeting and sharing invitations you set up, but never anything else to your contacts. In addition, we don’t use checkboxes, or hidden terms to trick you into giving permission. You have complete control.
  3. The goal of Tungle is to minimize the number of emails filling up your inbox, which is why we do everything possible to cut down on the number of emails you get from Tungle.

We keep your data safe.

  1. All information that passes between Tungle and your email/calendar applications is securely encrypted using a128-bit SSL VeriSign certificate.
  2. Tungle.com is hosted on a secure, managed server, protected by physical restrictions and secure firewall technologies.
  3. We back up our entire database every hour.
  4. We regularly test the system to make sure it is always secure.
  5. We will never sell, rent or otherwise distribute your information, or your contacts’ information to third parties.

In addition, we are constantly working to improve and adapt our security measures. For example, we are currently working towards obtaining certifications to further enhance the security of the Tungle environment.
